My name is Nicolas Bée. I’m 16 years old, and I’m currently a junior at Saint Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco, where I maintain a 3.9 GPA while balancing a demanding training schedule as a center back for the San Francisco Glens MLS NEXT U17 (2008) team with volunteering activities.
I’ve been playing soccer as long as I can remember, as it runs in the family. My dad passed his love for the game (as a player and a fan) on to me and my younger sister, Eloise, who’s 12 and already fierce on the field.
I’ve proudly worn the captain’s armband for the past four years. Leadership is something I take seriously, whether it’s on the pitch, mentoring younger players, or contributing to my community. I’ve tutored fellow students, volunteered with elderly care programs, and served as an assistant coach for SF Glens’ younger teams during the regular season and over the summer. I believe being a great teammate off the field is just as important as being one on it.
I’ve trained in the U.S. and France, attending various soccer camps over the last 4-5 years (a few examples: UC Berkeley, Stanford University, Stade Malherbe de Caen, and FC Annecy).
One of my proudest moments was captaining my team to be recognized as the U17 MLS NEXT Team of the Month in October 2024.
Whether I’m studying, training, or helping someone out, I try to give everything my full attention and effort. My goal is to keep growing as a player, a student, and a person. I’m looking for a college program that embraces that same dedication to development and excellence.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and I’m looking forward to connect with you!
